Welcome to Tactics: 1v1 Strategy Game (“Game”), operated by One Date. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access and use of the Game. By playing, you agree to these Terms.
No account creation is required to play.
Certain features, such as removing ads and unlocking unlimited undos and hints, require a one-time in-app purchase using your Apple ID or Google Play account.
All purchases are final. No cancellations or refunds will be issued.
The Game contains advertisements for free users.
Ads will be removed once the “Ad-Free” upgrade is purchased.
The Game is a strategic, turn-based board game where your objective is to navigate your team of pieces across a geometric grid to occupy the opponent's home row. Each match is played on a 4x4 digital grid connected by a specific configuration of edges and central bridges.
You interact with the Game by selecting one of your pieces and moving it to an adjacent, unoccupied node along a valid edge. Success requires a balance of offensive advancement and defensive positioning; a player wins by successfully moving all their pieces into the four nodes comprising the opponent's starting row.
The Game features a "Dynamic Backtracking" rule to prevent stalemates: while you are generally discouraged from moving a piece back to its previous position, the rule is automatically relaxed if a piece has no other available moves, ensuring you can never be technically trapped by the game's own logic.
By playing, you acknowledge that the challenge of Tactics—including spatial awareness, bottleneck management via the central bridges, and the necessity of navigating around both friendly and enemy blockades—is an intentional part of the Game's design and core experience.
A stable internet connection may be required to load ads or complete purchases.
There are no strict age restrictions. Players are responsible for complying with local laws regarding age-appropriate content and consent.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Game constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising under or relating to these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Singapore.
