Welcome to Prism Out: Light Puzzle Game (“Game”), operated by One Date. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access and use of the Game. By playing, you agree to these Terms.
No account creation is required to play.
Certain features, such as removing ads and unlocking unlimited hints, require a one-time in-app purchase using your Apple ID or Google Play account.
All purchases are final. No cancellations or refunds will be issued.
The Game contains advertisements for free users.
Ads will be removed once the “Full Access Pass” upgrade is purchased.
The Game is an optics puzzle in which your objective is to deliver light of the correct colour to every target on a procedurally generated board. Each level presents a fixed emitter, a set of targets that must each receive a specific colour, and an inventory of optical components — mirrors, prisms, lenses, colour filters, glass spheres and beam splitters — that you position and rotate to shape the path the light takes.
You interact with the Game by dragging components from the tray onto the board, moving them by their centre and rotating them by their rim. The light is not a line but a beam with width, and it behaves according to a physical model: it reflects, refracts, disperses into its component colours, spreads as it travels, loses power at every surface, and is blocked, dimmed or bent by the obstacles on the board. A target registers only when it has received enough light of its own colour, so both the aim and the strength of a beam matter. A level is completed only when every target on the board has been satisfied.
By playing, you acknowledge that the complexity of Prism Out — including the wavelength-dependent behaviour of glass, the division of white light into a spectrum, the loss of intensity across distance and surfaces, and the pursuit of a valid solution across a near-infinite level space — is an intentional part of the Game's design and core experience.
A stable internet connection may be required to load ads or complete purchases.
There are no strict age restrictions. Players are responsible for complying with local laws regarding age-appropriate content and consent.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Game constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising under or relating to these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Singapore.
