Welcome to Cross Out: Logic Puzzle Game (“Game”), operated by One Date. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access and use of the Game. By playing, you agree to these Terms.
No account creation is required to play.
Certain features, such as removing ads and unlocking unlimited hints, require a one-time in-app purchase using your Apple ID or Google Play account.
All purchases are final. No cancellations or refunds will be issued.
The Game contains advertisements for free users.
Ads will be removed once the “Full Access Pass” upgrade is purchased.
The Game is a logic-deduction puzzle in which your objective is to place a single mark — an X — into certain cells of a procedurally generated grid so that every row, every column and every colored region contains exactly one X, and no two X's touch one another, not even diagonally. Each level presents a grid divided into colored regions, along with blocked cells that can never hold an X and, on some levels, pre-placed locked X's that are given as clues.
You interact with the Game by tapping a cell to cycle it through a note and a placed X, by holding a cell to toggle an X directly, and by dragging to add or remove notes across multiple cells. Placing an X automatically removes any earlier X that shared its row, column or region, so each of those constraints holds only one mark at a time. Success requires deducing, from the regions and the no-touch rule, the single arrangement of X's that satisfies every constraint at once. A level is completed only when one X has been correctly placed in every row, every column and every region with no conflicts remaining.
By playing, you acknowledge that the complexity of Cross Out — including the one-mark-per-row, per-column and per-region requirement, the rule that no two X's may touch even diagonally, the existence of a single valid solution for each level, and the pursuit of that solution across a near-infinite level space — is an intentional part of the Game's design and core experience.
A stable internet connection may be required to load ads or complete purchases.
There are no strict age restrictions. Players are responsible for complying with local laws regarding age-appropriate content and consent.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Game constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising under or relating to these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Singapore.
