Welcome to Barricade: Quoridor Game (“Game”), operated by One Date. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access and use of the Game. By playing, you agree to these Terms.
No account creation is required to play.
Certain features, such as removing ads and unlocking unlimited undos and hints, require a one-time in-app purchase using your Apple ID or Google Play account.
All purchases are final. No cancellations or refunds will be issued.
The Game contains advertisements for free users.
Ads will be removed once the “Ad-Free” upgrade is purchased.
The Game is a strategic, turn-based board game where your objective is to navigate your single pawn across a 9x9 geometric grid to occupy any tile on the opponent's home row. Each match begins with a specific layout of neutral barriers that possess finite lifespans and decay with every action taken on the board.
You interact with the Game by either moving your pawn to an adjacent, unoccupied cell, or by placing a structural wall on the grid intersections to obstruct your opponent's progress. Success requires a balance of offensive advancement and defensive blockade building; however, players must strictly abide by the "Golden Path" constraint, which prohibits placing any wall that completely seals off either player from their respective target row.
The Game features an "Extra Move" mechanic available once per match for each player, allowing a temporary bypass of the standard turn sequence to gain positioning or reinforce defenses. Furthermore, a local view-correction system dynamically ensures that the active player's HUD remains perfectly upright and readable during 1v1 matches on a single device.
By playing, you acknowledge that the challenge of Barricade — including spatial awareness, maze optimization, management of decaying neutral walls, and the necessity of navigating around both friendly and enemy blockades — is an intentional part of the Game's design and core experience.
A stable internet connection may be required to load ads or complete purchases.
There are no strict age restrictions. Players are responsible for complying with local laws regarding age-appropriate content and consent.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Game constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising under or relating to these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Singapore.
